Comments: Was in the trench on the afternoon and evening of July 27, 1953 when the white phosphorus flares hurled into the air signaling the end of the war. Baker company then provided guards for Panmunjom after that. I was the jeep driver transporting guards to and from Panmunjom for a couple of months after the end, before completing my tour.

Comments: My husband, Denis Mitchell served in the Marines in Korea from November 1953 - March 1955.

Some of the guys called him by nick-name "Red" due to his red hair.

Two particular individuals he's mentioned from his unit are:

George "Bud" Duncan and Gabriel DeMaria

If there are any members of his unit who remember him, or know anything about or how to locate George or Gabriel, please email.

I am the nephew of Carlos Robles who was KIA 9/1/1950.

On behalf of his sister, my mother, I am trying to compile a time line of what occurred - wonderful site - and now am asking for your help in drafting the personal aspect.

If anyone knew him, has photographs or any other information - I would be indebted to you.

God Bless and Thank You!
